Shooting Schedule
I don't have a strict shooting schedule for filming the shots needed for my driving sequence, but I will film these over the next few weeks whenever I get a suitable opportunity of travelling on journeys with my parents, where I will able to film. My aim is to gather as many shots of driving as possible, in different types of locations (from motorways to rural country roads) and then to choose which shots I want to use for my driving montage ahead of editing.
Similarly, I may need some pick up shots filmed at college, so I will film these as and when I finish the rest of my filming, should I need any extra shots. Both of my actors are available at college, and are happy to film at relatively short notice should I need them.
What I really need a shooting schedule for is the filming I will be doing at Cliveden House, as I only have permission to film there over two days (on the mornings of Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March between 9 and 12 am) and I need to consider the logistics (of guests at the house, but also the availability of my actors). Below is my shooting schedule for the filming I will be doing at Cliveden House.
Day 1: Saturday 15th March
- Shots of Alex/Jim arriving at Cliveden
- Shots of dashboard
- Shots of Alex/Jim fixing the car
- Shots of Alex/Jim walking down driveway
- All exterior shots of the grounds, woodland, nature
Day 2: Sunday 16th March
- All interior shots (wine cellar, corridors, bedrooms)
- Conversation between Alex/Jim and Louise/Brigid
- Shots in the maze
- Any re-shoots from day one
I will also have the opportunity to visit Cliveden House for a couple of hours sometime in January so I can do some test shooting with my actors.
