Script for Dialogue Between Jim and His Boss (Phone Call)

As my opening scene begins my protagonist, Jim, will be having a phone conversation with his boss about a photographic assignment he is being sent on in a remote location. This will play over the top of a montage of driving shots, where the setting becomes more and more isolated, and is intended to foreshadow Jim breaking down and having no phone reception to call for help when events take a sinister turn.

Below is the script for this conversation, where the boss's lines will be recorded and edited to sound as if they are on a phone.

Boss: Look Jim, we're going to need you to take some photos for that coastal story this weekend.

Jim: But it's hundreds of miles away and you know I've got no reception down there.

Boss: We need to bump the deadline forward and you're the best man for the job.

Jim: The only man available more like.

Boss: You can send the photos when you're back. Enjoy.

Jim: Cheers boss.
