Script for Dialogue Between Jim and Brigid For the Opening Scene of 'Equinox'

I have written the script for the dialogue for the scene between Jim (the photographer) and Brigid (the cult leader), when Jim goes to ask for help after his car has broken down in a remote location. I will film this as a series of over-the-shoulder shots (filming the scene once entirely over Jim's shoulder, and again entirely over Brigid's shoulder) but also as individual shots. This will give me much more choice when editing the scene.

Jim: Hi…hello…excuse me…sorry…

Brigid: Hello. Is everything okay? OR Can I help you?

Jim: I hope so…I’m looking for a village round here called Little Ostara…but I think I’m lost.

Brigid: I’m afraid I’ve never heard of it.

Jim: Right…okay…my car’s broken down a couple of miles down the road…

Brigid: I’m sorry to hear that.

Jim: And (waving phone) I can’t seem to get a signal. Could I use your phone.

Brigid: I’m sorry, there are no phones here.

Jim: Right…

Brigid: But you’re welcome to come in and have some refreshments.

Jim: As long as I’m not troubling you.

Brigid: No trouble at all. All are welcome on this day of celebration.

Jim: Celebration?

Brigid: Today we celebrate the coming of the thaw.
