My Chosen Production Companies - A24, Blumhouse Productions and New Line Cinema

The production companies I am going to choose are A24, Blumhouse Productions and New Line Cinema. All of them have a strong track record of producing and distributing horror films, many of which are from the folk horror sub-genre.

I am going to choose New Line Cinema because it is a big production company owned by Warner Brothers, which will help with marketing and distribution, but also because I noticed during my research that often films have backing from one big production company along with a few smaller ones. 

I am choosing A24 as they usually specialise in horror films with more creative/abstract themes and I think it would be appropriate for them to produce/distribute 'Equinox' as they have frequently made films that could be described as belonging to the folk horror sub-genre. I chose Blumhouse Productions because they are also known for producing horror films.

Here are some potential idents from each of these production companies that I may use at the beginning of my opening sequence, accompanied by music that will instantly indicate to the audience that 'Equinox' belongs to the folk horror sub-genre.
